WA State Health Department requirement for masking in healthcare facilities ends April 3, 2023

What this means for our massage practice:

We will no longer require that clients mask during their sessions. We may choose to mask while working on you. You may also request that mutual masking happen during your session with us. Please use common sense precautions of not coming for a massage when you have symptoms of illness or if you have been recently exposed to someone with a known Covid infection. Don’t hesitate to reach out to discuss any concerns regarding infection risk mitigation related to your scheduled session. We are clear that it is important for you to feel safe in order to feel relaxed while here.

We are still continuing to provide maximal ventilation during massage sessions, as research demonstrates that fresh air flow—in the forms of ventilation and filtration—is critical in helping prevent the spread of the COVID virus.
(Read this article for further information.)

We have two options for massage with maximum ventilation:

• Our indoor studio has windows on two walls that allow for a fresh air cross ventilation. A powerful HEPA filter rated for a space fives times the size of the room runs in corner opposite the open windows. A gas fireplace, overhead infrared heater, and table warmer keep you cozy and comfortable.

• Our outdoor option (available late spring through early autumn) offers maximum ventilation possible, with a table warmer and overhead infrared patio heater ensuring comfort on chilly days. Curtained for privacy.

Outdoor pavilion, next to a waterfall, adequate heat for chilly days, very private.

What we ask of you:

Self-Screen prior to coming to your appointment. Please reach out immediately if you have symptoms of illness in the week before your massage so that we may discuss whether you need to reschedule.

Entrance protocol: Please text your practitioner when you arrive and wait until confirmation that it is okay to enter the premises.
